EHM The Blue Line

So last night I thought I was so tired that didn't notice I tried to claim a guy that was put on waivers. But just played a little today again and once again a D-man that got waived by Toronto all of a sudden showed up on my roster. I didn't try to claim him, or wanted him. Why does this seem to happen? I've noticed on EHM07 that the team can sign FAs and maybe also waived players when I go on vacation, but I'm just simming it day by day now. No Assistant GM on my team either to mess around with me. What is going on, is there some setting in game I'm missing? Or a bug?

I think it's a bug. Had it happen once to me as well Jeff Schultz, a journeyman defenceman who is rubbish ended up on my team. I just waived him to the minors and eventually traded him for a 7th round pick I think.

Oh okay. I thought I was going crazy there for a second. Tried to unload him for a 7th but apparently he is so bad no one want to take him on and not even San Antonio seem to want to play him.

When guys are put on waivers nobody will trade for them till a few months pass.

Assistant GM/Coach keeps messing up with waivers. I didn't want to claim Daniel Cleary from waivers and I didn't want to put Marian Hossa to waivers.
