EHM The Blue Line

Recently, in my current save, I decided to resign from my current position as GM of the Red Wings after a series of Cup Wins, hoping to take over a lesser team and rebuild them. At the time, the Blues were on the verge of firing their GM, so I waited it out. About a month and a half in to the season, the Blues fire their GM, I apply. At the time, I was rated 2nd Best GM, only below a Minor League GM. The Blues ended up hiring Garth Snow, who has been fired from two different jobs already. What gives here? I've won 4 Cups, obviously winning a majority of the games. Is their a glitch in the game?

Hurricanes fired, then rehired that GM after I applied.

This bug is following from 2007. GM fired and hired again and it's very hard to find a new team from unemoplayed.

Yeah I started out different games unemployed with different reputation levels and haven't been able to be hired by any team in the ECHL, AHL, or NHL.

Me too. So I decided to create a fake-named manager with low reputation, look which team is looking for a GM (in my case it was Owen Sound in OHL) and then added a new manager (me), as a GM for Owen Sound

I have finished a year and am on a new one in the lower tiers of the British Leagues. I was offered a ECHL job in the offseason, but wanted to try another year and see how I could do.

Maybe I will wish I took it, but I am hoping to move up this offseason. My rep is steadily going up, I started as a rec.player and really low.
