Is there a chance a player who dislikes me gets over that feeling and won't be unhappy?

Yes, I have seen players sign with my team (or re-sign) even though they dislike me or that particular team. Seems to really make no difference.

If a player does not like you or your team, I'm noticing that when you try to sign them, all the Role options (Key, Core, etc) will be Hashed Out (have the # next to them, disabling them from being selected.

Also, once a player lists you as a Like or Dislike in the player DB, I'm not aware of any way either can be removed without editing.

SOrry Primis....I had Cory Conacher hating me. Gave him an offer, he refused. Did it again later when he went RFA and he re-signed no problem. THat being said, he does still dislike me and when he becomes UFA I bet he does not re-sign with me.

And yes I have never seen the dislike go away. Because I never edit.

I don't think the game is even programmed to remove any of the Like and Dislikes, only add. I'm not sure it should, either. Maybe Likes should be removed, but not Dislikes.

Can a player both Like and Dislike a team? Has anyone ever tried this? What if he really likes the team for years, and then they give him the shaft, and he suddenly sours?

It should be dynamic both ways - after all people can get over their disputes - especially if they're young, still at your team and you're praising them, playing well etc. Likewise if someone has you down as 'liked' doesn't mean you can't piddle them off!

Yes it is probably tilted too much too the negative side of disputes in the game, probably need to have it a little more neutral that way. Something to ask on SI forums.

Likely, since I still ahve not tried to import a db. Will before next challenge I guess. Also cannot figure out where the backgrounds that someone posted recently go, but no big deal to me.

Team backgrounds belong in \data\pictures\backgrounds\clubs.

Within this sub-folder, the team backgrounds belong in folders according to their county name (for non-North American leagues) or their league name (for North American leagues). In other words, if the team background is that of a North American team, their background must be placed in a folder which is named the same as the league the team plays in (e.g. the Anaheim Ducks background (Anaheim play in the NHL) must be placed in the \data\pictures\backgrounds\club\National Hockey League). For teams based outside of North America, their background must be placed in a folder which is named the same as the country the team plays in (e.g. a Manchester Phoenix background (Manchester play in the British EPIHL) would be placed in the \data\pictures\backgrounds\club\Great Britain).
