EHM The Blue Line

I've been trying for a couple of hours now to try to install the roster packs from the download section to get the real players in the game, but it just isn't working.

I'm a complete newbie with extracting and importing files, so will someone be so kind as to explain to me exactly how to download these roster packs? I tried following the instructions on the download thread and I exported the file to what I think is the proper location but when I click the import database option nothing shows up.

I tried watching a Youtube video to help me out but that video is outdated because they switched the file format or something.

I guess what I'm looking for is a step by step walkthrough on how to get the player packs downloaded onto my game, and I'd also like to know how to get the face packs downloaded as well.

Sorry for my extreme lack of knowledge LOL any help would be appreciated.

In the red banner at the top of this thread are links to the EHM05 and EHM07 Guides, and while outdated a lot of the information is still true/should still be helpful + there's also the link to the EHM:EA Manual that comes with the brand new game, and that should provide a lot of the basics too
