EHM The Blue Line

Now that EHM:EA Has been around for a couple months, does anyone that purchased it still play EHM 2007?

I do. I haven't played EA in a few months; I prefer 2007. Is there a difference in the games yet, or is it still '07 with fewer features?

I'm not playing EHM07 anymore

Before the release of EHM:EA Riz had made improvements & improvements continue to be made!...there are for sure still at this time bugs that are on the list to be squashed, and tweaking that's on the to do list as well, but IMO it's seems to be already better than EHM07

EHM:EA is most definitely significantly different "under the hood" + there's been improvements made in the EHM07 AI/gameplay (and there have already been 6 updates! with more to come!). With EHM:EA the hardcoded features that were not editable are now part of the database, and thus will be editable eventually (Archi's working on an Editor!); I'm really looking forward to the potential improvements that can be made to retro databases

There hasn't been a DB that's been tweaked for EHM:EA yet (it's coming!), and there'll for sure be further tweaking needed for DB and game...

I've no idea what the "fewer features" reference refers to, I don't notice much/anything missing (the multiGM/online features haven't been reintroduced yet, but I believe the plan is for 30 human GMs!)

I think the only thing removed was the online mode which has been temporarily disabled whilst it is being improved. Other than that, EHM:EA is 2007 but with more, not fewer, features. If you include the extended World Championship Divisions, EA now has more playable competitions/leagues than 2007.

I've uninstalled 07. EHM EA all the way!

I still play it, but only when I physically go into work once a week. Steam is blocked by the firewall.

I'm actually still mostly playing EHM2007 right now. Mostly because I have a couple great saves on there that I'm still enjoying, but also bc there are a few big bugs/issues with EHM: EA that are keeping me from fully enjoying it (i.e. Defensemen not performing or being rated properly & "Full Sim" being extremely unrealistic). That being said, I'm looking at starting a game soon either with the Hurricanes (and sim set to "None"...which seems to give the most realistic results for individual players sadly), or starting in the ECHL and working my way up to the NHL.

This is the number one reason I haven't gone over. When EA stops being EA and becomes EHM 2015 or whatever they're calling it, I'll come over.

I do have a save on 2007 I'll probably keep going back to bit by bit. Right now it's the shiny object thing for me and EA. (And I want whatever powers that be see that I'm logged into Steam and playing it a lot to hopefully help make sure this goes past EA.)

I tried it today since I have a very long save in there, but the UI just looked horrible after getting used to EA's UI

I still play 2007 most of the time. I've just got a saved game career that's too far in to abandon.
