The Rampage have changed their color scheme to match San Antonio's Spurs which oh btw is a basketball team I guess if you're rich enough to own three sports teams in the same town things like having them all match in color would be important to you though.

Those of you using my AHL alternate logos/ices set may recognize their 'new' logo as the one they've been using on merchandise and their website since last year... there's pics on the article page and you can see the other versions of the "reworked" logo in the team's site's header:

Though I don't know who Sara M Page is I bet she's not happy that they stole her personal url

There is nothing wrong with San Antonio colors being the same as stupid-round-ball-team-colours. I still want the LA Kings to go back to purple and gold, like the Lakers purple and gold not the purple they have now.

That was alot of the word purple in one run on sentence. One more time: PURPLE!

But really, I only want that to hear what Sean Avery will say about being forced to wear purple.

I think colour is really important; it's the tradition of the team and how you identify with them. It would be like changing the colours of your country's flag.

Another team that lost her identity...

The changing of colors doesn't bother me as much as blatantly stealing the old Sabres jersey template. Have some originality, or at least put out a good traditional jersey design instead of being faux creative...

I find it to be rather ugly.

Ya know, tha's a great point... I hadn't thought of that since I still "see" it in the old blue and purple I guess but it really is rather Sabres '05 which is just SO last year
