Is there anyway to change the date that you start when creating a new game. I want to skip the first season and start the season at the 2015 draft. Is this possible?

Other than by simulating to that date, I don't think so. There was the Custom Start Date Patch for EHM 07, but that only changed the year, you still needed to pick one of the preset start dates in the game.

Wait intill updated Rosters come out. Edit Schedule to deleye Games.

Even if the date is technically wrong, if the updated rosters have all this years draft class, and then when we get to the following draft, it will be the Auston Matthews draft, I'll be a happy man.

2015-16 rosters will not likely come out until well...2015-16 season starts. Which is after draft, after UFA etc. Why do them now when do not even know where the draft class or UFAs are going? We want up to date rosters for the start of season, and that is what we will get...some time in October.

The Draft is happening today and Free-Agent Period starts on the 1st and the Free-Agents might go to different Teams if Rosters were as of July 1st same with Start Date for NHL.

Updated rosters won't be available until much nearer the start of the NHL season. So we'll be sticking with the 2014/15 rosters for a while longer yet. And no doubt Riz will add the 2015/16 season to the game once we get nearer the time (still about 3 months to go).

Incidentally, I was able to edit the start date in the game in a similar way to how I created the EHM 2007 Start Date Patch. Although the game started ok in the 2015/16 season, there were all of the usual problems with games not being scheduled, etc. But I have no intention of looking into this whilst EHM is actively developed. If we get to the end of this and EHM is put on hiatus again then I'll look into a start date patch.

What if somebody updates Stats to include 2014-2015 ones other then you guys today could Start Date in Gane change to like July 1st 2015?

Currently starting in 2015 is not possible (but it's expected to be added to the game closer to the start of the IRL 2015-16 season)

If we could edit Schedule by deleting 2014-15 Schedule but still starting in 2014 minus Games. Change date to day to like 12-31-2014.

ok.....so currently ( as of July6th) there is no way to start a NEW game AFTER the 14-15 season ended. So just before the draft?
