A couple of days ago Phoenix signed with Liam Lindström, Willy Lindström's (former Swedish NHL-player) son. Willy who won Stanley Cup with Gretzky in the 80's.
Willy says: "He was on the summercamp for rookies, and they (Phoenix) was happy about his performance. BTW! Willy is nowadays scout for Phoenix, I wonder who told Gretzky about Liam......

Personally, I haven't heard of this kid, just seen him on EHM. :-p

This is bad, a top prospect who I missed. Maybe because he played in Hammarby, which is a rival club to Djurgården. But actually they are way bader than Djurgården. And because he is one of many prospects from Sweden, so some of them I've never heard of.

In the game it says that he is born in Winnipeg. :-k just like another Swedish prospect, Alexander Steen, Thomas Steen's son. This is seems to be very common among Swedish prospects, they are sons to former Swedish NHLers. Robert Nilsson (NYI/Bridgeport) - Kent Nilsson (Calgary, Edmonton), Alexander Steen (Toronto) - Thomas Steen (Winnipeg ((Did he play in any other team?))), Liam lindström (Phoenix) - Willy Lindström (Edmonton, Winnipeg) etc.

BTW - Robert Nilsson is a bad ass; make sure you pick him up for '07  He has absolutely torn it up in my testing games...
