EHM The Blue Line

Hello. I would like to do create a player league in other forum that I'm on. If you don't know what it is, I put up sign ups for the league, some people sign up then I add them into the game and then simulate so those who signed up can see how their player is doing with his career. So I created some players for test league and selected all the leagues so players have more career opportunities not just playing in two or three leagues. But waiting for all those games to be simulated takes way toooo long so I kind of lose all the interest in doing that. I'd like to simulate about three months per day but pre-season already have many games to be simulated I don't even wanna think how long I will wait for season to be simulated.

That's why I was wondering if there is any way to make simulating faster. Since I'm not GMing any team (just tracking created players progress) I basically have nothing to do in the game. I went on vacation but turns out it doesn't makes it any faster. Maybe someone know a way to do that?

Database size and the number of leagues run at "enhanced" make a difference. Not really sure how else to speed it up. I have the same issue with my blog, where I have all leagues enhanced "just in case" my player ends up in one of those leagues. Maybe you should leave it simming while you're away, or doing something else?

And yes, we've done that here too with EHM 07, so we know what you mean.

I'm currently doing some EHM:EA testing (3 multiyear sims going), and each in-game month takes 40-60 IRL minutes...
I started less than a week ago and I've simmed over 8 years...
I always have all Leagues on Enhanced, use a Full (maximum size) database and use Full Sim (the most realistic/complete/detailed sim)

You could set Leagues to Quick Sim instead of Full Sim (if you haven't already) and that may reduce the sim time, but you'll just be simming to produce stats instead of actually having the games simulate (and the best stats/simulation come from Full Sim)

You could reduce the database size, but that may result in some of your players not showing up (you could reduce the DB size and check on day 1 using the EHM:EA Assistant to make sure all the players you want to be there are)

If it was me I'd just accept it takes the time it takes to get the most complete/realistic sim
