Remember when they said that there was going to be the new sleeker, shinier, more form fitting jerseys from Reebok? They never actually made their way to the ice...
Well I think they have officially been released! Check it out, here's the new Buffalo logo version:

And the new Bruins version:

These are not edited images!

They look like a women's style of jersey

Also, how come they have a pink shade?
Other than that, I really really like the style

Maybe I just have a thing for chicks in hockey jerseys (which I do), but really, whenever I see those jerseys I think of a chick lounging around on my couch wearing nothing but one.
How you guys can call them gay is beyond me.

They are available for every NHL team and as you can see they are updated for 2006-2007.
And I applaud Tom for seeing a bit of cloth with a curve to it and extrapolating it to a hot babe on his couch wearing nothing but... bravo

I'm sure these jerseys will sell pretty well. Look at how well the pink MLB team caps sell. The women love their pink Red Sox hats around here... unless they're a traditional type of girl (and they're sooooo much cooler!).

I found it looks just ugly

I hope i'll never see a b*tch with this... But,for sure,it'll send well. It's just a commercial approach,not a hockey lovers one

No, we didn't... just because people ignored you doesn't mean you have to tug on our sleeves again while we are talking at the dinner table to point it out

It doesn't matter that they are for Breast Cancer research; they are still an ugly ass design in a sport in which many fans find their team logos to be sacred. I'm sorry, the pink Indianhead makes me want to retch no matter how worthwhile a cause it is supporting. I think it is particularly misguided as a design concept in hockey though because all the female hockey fans I know own the real article and would feel silly and know they'd be mocked if they showed up in a freaking form fitting pink jersey.
So, to me this seems to be a case of simply missing/not understanding your target market. In baseball or baketball even possibly football (though at least around here female football fans feel the same as I said about hockey fans) it might work better. They are sports with many more casual fans as well as more people that wear the merchandise even if not fans. It's due to for example the Lakers merchandise popularity. So, yeah I can see it selling like crazy just like the pink Cubs hats do here in Chicago but I don't see a tailored pink hockey jersey with a pink version of a team's logo being embraced en masse by the sport's female fans who are the obvious targets. And if enough guys feel the way we do they aren't about to buy their wives/girlfriends one and have to look at it at every darn game. So if they wanted a hot seller for Cancer Research how about jerseys with a pink breast cancer ribbon? This is just silly.

I'm going to buy one just to anger the masses... and support a good cause!

For sure, the cause sounds good...but however the shirts are really ugly! They should have done a better product to defend their cause... And if you want to buy it just for the cause, remember that donation is still an option

and you won't have to buy those ridiculous jerseys!

Ya see... there's nothign wrong with this picture for example (well 'cept that Amina is wearin a Blues sweater that is...) so there is no need for alternate versions:
She plays goalie in a rec league; seriously.
Warning that most of Amina's site is decidedly
not safe for work. [/threadjack]
