EHM The Blue Line

Who are you going to manage first and in which league?

I'm going to take control of Manchester Phoenix (British EIHL) to start off with. I've been having a lot of fun with them whilst testing the game and so I'd like to start a proper game with them. Some time in the future I'll have a go of Boston Bruins although I think I'll be doomed in that game

Well, since I live in Halifax I'm going to start off with the Mooseheads. I figure playing a few seasons in major junior will give me time to get accustomed to the game before I make the jump to the NHL.

My Habs dynasty awaits my creative touch.

Djurgården (Swedish elitserien) of course. After a couple of season there I will take on a dynasty with NYR.

The odd thing is that I've restarted the first year or so starting with a fantasy draft so many times now in testing my first team may just be whoever we go with for the first Challenge.

After recreating the Hawks every four or five days from scratch I hardly ever get around to playing the game with them once testing is over I mean really I've easily started 25 new seasons with the Hawks I could almost do it blindfolded at this point. Once everyone has the game I also spend most of my playtime creating and testing projects in the early going as well so I'm not sure when I'll get around to formally wresting control from the Wirtzford Dynasty and restoring the Hawks to glory.

Got a thing for the Manatoba Moose, so it will be them.

Fantasy Draft!!!!!!

Now if only my wife lets me play all night. And tomorrow...and yea....


P.S. I'm guessing the Devils start in their salery cap mess so maybe I'll wait a little for that.

My first game will be an NHL fantasy game. The reason being I hate starting again with each new patch, and I echo everything Minty said above, as I play the Hawks as well. If I go with the fantasy draft I can get the hang of the new game without worrying too much when the patches come! It can't be long now before the first patch

I voted for the NHL, since I probably will take over my beloved Bruins....but I also want to give it a try in the Canadian Juniors.....probably the Mooseheads, as one of my best friends lives there!!!

Also, Iam not sure, but if I could start unemployed, then I will probably walk the long way up in the ladder, lol!!!

It just won't be the same without Thornton and Samsonov

NHL for me. The Islanders with their crazyness or a fantasy draft.

Yeah, I know, but hey!!! Chara, Savard, Kessel, the Special K's.....its still not bad, not???

Also, if we do a bad season we still can hope for Esposito on the next draft, lol!!!

I'll start in Denmark,in the most bad i'll be able to find there,and try to make my way through different leagues before going in NHL and race for the Stanley Cup!

Alongside,i'll surely play a game with my lovely Flames,just to see how it is with Tanguay and Iginla on the same line!

I've only ever really controlled NHL teams. I gave a go at running junior teams a couple times but I never made it far because I was so out of my element. I'm sure my first game will be played as the Boston Bruins. I've got to give my boys that honor. Of course, I might also try a fantasy draft just for the sake of seeing who I get but then not play them.

I have not the game yet (I have not pre-order it and I have a modem connection... ).

But for the question of where I will start my game, I don't know. Does we must choose a team at the start, or we can start has an unemployed GM? If I can, I will start unemployed and wait for an opening job to apply. If I must choose a team, I will chose a lower league and made my class before going into NHL.

Do you have some suggestion of witch team/league to start ? I look for a lower team in a lower league (to make more realistic my game).

Maybe try a team in the Canadian Juniors (OHL, QMJHL and WHL)?

Do we have own contract (we must negociate it) or it's just like EHM 2005 (unlimited contract with the only pression is when the board is unhappe)?

I have started two games:

1. Boston Bruins

2. unemployed (I wanna see how long it takes until somebody hires me, lol!!!)

I'm gonna start with the default Flyers and play that game until the final patch. Then I'll start my career game with a managerless team in the OHL, like usual. I'll probably also have a fantasy draft league in there somewhere.

Let me scratch my last post. they actually added an option to start unemployed!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

That's where I'm going. Starting unemployed, and letting the game carry me to a career.

I'll go with Pittsburgh. If I ever get the game, that is.

Iam in october right now, but still no job....hopefully I havent to wait long, lol!!!

If I see that it takes too long I will switch over to my other saved game with the B's!!!
