Load times for each day

Love the new EHM. Played over 60 seasons in my career in EHM 2007.

I am curious regarding load times for each day. It takes between 45 seconds and 2 minutes to simulate to the next day each time I hit continue. Is there a possible reason as to why this takes so long? I have a new computer, so that shouldn't be the issue. I do have all leagues selected for my career (I play as the Canucks). Should I (and can I?) disable to just the NHL/AHL, or will that affect my ability to track scoring and prospects in other leagues for potential free agents?

Thanks for any advice/tips.

- Matt

Going with a smaller database significantly reduced load times for me, as far as not selecting leagues I'm not as sure of. I know it hasn't really made a huge difference between leaving a league "view-only." I'm kind of curious to see what others use to keep a good balance with load times.

Changing the detail level to all the leagues except for the NHL and which ever league you're currently in to "Quick Sim" makes a big difference as well

Hello, I have still very big problem with speed of the game sim. When it was just Early access, the game was pretty nice, but after some updates, it is horribly slow. Can you please tell me, what to do?
(I tried to reinstall the game too. I have the newest 1.0.2 version)

Please help! :-(

How are people setting the game up regarding leagues playable / view-only?

On EHM 07 I could easily run all leagues, stick the ones I'm not using at the moment on view-only and do a nice unemployed to NHL challenge... this version when loading all leagues, view only / quick sim I'm running so slow and it takes far too much time to enjoy the game. I'm finding that I might have to run with just say NHL/KHL/CAN/SWE literally just load the top leagues and play that way

The most common ways to speed up the simming are:
Use a smaller database size if you wish, you can change this in the preferences or during the game setup
Only select the leagues you either 1. want to manage in or 2. want to be able to see in more detail. If you only intend on playing as Toronto in NHL say then you could load up only the NHL.
Set other leagues you've loaded to 'view only' this can be done on game set up or in the 'selected leagues' option in game.
in game go to 'detail level' and set everything to 'quick sim' other than the league you are playing in.

HOWEVER even doing this I find that this version is still much slower than EHM07 WHEN loading up multiple nations. Loading 1 or 2 seems find but if you go for all of EU plays NHL it starts getting very slow.

I have found that by setting all leagues except NHL, KHL, AhL and CHL to view-only has sped up my load times significantly
