The newest file to download, the Danish Facepack, doesn't work for me... Windows can't open the downloaded file...
Anyone else experienced that? Or the problem is on my way?...

It works fine for me. Maybe the file was corrupted as you were downloading it (this can sometimes happen). Try downloading it again.

Hi.
I don't know why windows won't open the zip file for you, it works on my computer.
But that being said, you need to have a zip program like WinZip or Filezip (free at
www.filezip.com).
If you just open the file with the built in Windows zip function, then many of the pictures won't show in the game, because Windows misses up the danish letters "Æ, Ø, Å" and some swedish letters. I don't know why this happens, but it must be because the Windows function doesn't support all languages in zip files.
If you open the file with Filezip then everything should work.
Hope this helps

I use Alcohol. I never had a problem for unzipping a file with it,even with danish and swedish letters.
The problem is that my windows didn't recognize any type of file for your file
But as Archibalduck said, maybe the file was corrupted during the download. So i'll give it an other try
If it works for you, there's no reason it doesn't work for me
Thanks guys for the answers

What was the name of the file you downloaded, Shadd? It should be called EHM2007.zip

Well,it was just called EHM2007,without any extension giving info about the type of file it is... In the download box that firefox opens,it says that it's a "winamp media file"... But it already displayed me this stupid message for zip files that worked well,so i didn't pay attention.
If i try to open the file with WinAce (the software i use for unzipping),i can see all the files listed... but when i click on "extract",nothing happens...

And i can't open or copy any file i see in WinAcen. Usually i can do it (especially for pics).
I've tried 4 or 5 times, but always with the same result

As i want to start a game in the Danish league,i'm a bit sad being unable to have this facepack

That's really wierd.
If you send me your email I can try to mail my original file to you?

Or you could try to use
www.filzip.com
It's a free zip program, and it is the one I used to create the file to begin with, so if anything, that should be able to open the file

Shadd, it sounds like you possibly might have a problem with file associations on your computer. Do other ZIP files open ok? Try renaming the file to have ".zip" on the end of it. Does that make a difference?
How big is your copy of the facepack? It should be 1.07 MB (1,125,655 bytes)

I used WinRAR to unzip it and all the files unzipped with the correct names and they are all in the right place.
None of them are showing up though...

Ok, that sounds wierd.
Are you sure they are all located in the "...NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007\data\pictures\players" folder?
And that the files have the letters like "Æ, Ø, Å, æ, ø, å" etc. and are not missed up with other wierd signs in the names?

Positive, I've triple checked and then double checked on top of that.
