Is this the place to mention retired numbers?
Modo has six numbers retired at the moment (I've actually seen four of them getting retired live), I copied them of eliteprospects.
If this is the wrong place for something like this I'm sorry
- #4 Nils Johansson (D)
- #9 Magnus Wernblom (F)
- #21 Peter Forsberg (F)
- #8 Per Lundqvist (F)
- #16 Anders Hedberg (F)
- #39 Per Svartvadet (F)

I don't know if the clubs "basic languages" is important at all or if it's even a database thing but it seems most Swedish teams have this as English and Norwegian when most of the southern teams should probably have Danish added as well (Malmö Redhawks for example).
Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan:
Asplöven HC:
Retired numbers: 3
HC Vita Hästen
Founded: 1967
Retired numbers: 1, 4, 17
IF Björklöven
Retired numbers: 9, 17, 23, 27
IK Oskarshamn
Retired numbers: 4, 5, 12, 15, 28
IK Pantern
Arena: Malmö isstadion
Capacity: 5800 (4800 seated) (wide rink)
Mora IK:
Retired numbers: 17
Tingsryds AIF:
Founded: 1923
VIK Västerås HK
Retired numbers: 5, 82
While it might be low on most people's priority lists it kinda hurts me to see that my hometown team in Swedish division 2 has no real players.
So I decided to have a look at the teams in the Swedish division 2. (Which has quite a lot of teams in EHM since it's split up into different regions in reality)
Bräcke IK:
Is now a division 2 team. Is in "Swedish lower divisions" in the TBL database.
Burträsk HC:
City: Burträsk, SWE
Founded: 1981
No real players in TBL rosters.
Roster on eliteprospects:
http://www.eliteprospects.com/team.php?team=346
Falu IF:
No real players in TBL rosters.
Roster on eliteprospects:
http://www.eliteprospects.com/team.php?team=350
Finspångs AIK:
No longer a division 2 team. Is currently in division 4.
Arena: Klimatteknik hallen
Gävle GIK:
No longer a division 2 team. Currently division 3.
Founded: 1906
Gimo IF:
No longer a division 2 team. Currently division 3.
GötaTraneberg:
Name should be Göta/Traneberg (like the Göta/Traneberg J18 team)
Is now a division 2 team. Is in "Swedish lower divisions" in the TBL database.
HA74 Highlanders:
Is now a division 2 team. Is in "Swedish lower divisions" in the TBL database.
Hallstahammars HK:
Is now a division 2 team. Is in "Swedish lower divisions" in the TBL database.
Hanhals HF:
Now called Hanhals IF
Hanvikens HK
Is now a division 2 team. Is in third division in TBL database.
Malungs IF: (My hometown team!

)
Founded: 1920
City: Malung, SWE
Arena: Malungs Ishall
Capacity: 1500 (most standing, there are some seats but idk exactly how many) (wide rink, good ice conditions)
Team Afilliates: Malungs IF J20 which exists in EHM should be Malungs IF J18
No real players in TBL rosters.
Roster on eliteprospects:
http://www.eliteprospects.com/team.php?team=360
Trångsunds IF
Founded: 1936
Arena: should be added that it's a wide rink.
Capacity: Currently at 400 but their website states it as 600.
The TBL rosters has 1 real player! "Axel Steen". His Position is set as LW/RW but it should be C/LW/RW.
Roster on eliteprospects:
http://www.eliteprospects.com/team.php?year0=&team=289
Missing teams (from second division):
Bolidens FFI (
http://www.eliteprospects.com/team.php?team=343)
Filipstads IF (
http://www.eliteprospects.com/team.php?team=1225)
And that's all I have time for today. I have also started doing logos for the Swedish teams that don't have them in the logo packs on steam. Will upload them sometime later when I have done more. (if anyone is interested in the logos then please send a PM so I know I should hurry up)

Yep, I can draft him twice in my season.
And this guy is a tad too big. Färjestad J18 from the start.

In VIK Västerås (Swe-2) the prospect Lukas Zetterberg is incorrectly spelled Lucas.
The Örebro (SHL) keeper Henrik Lundberg exists twice:
#1
Correct:
Name
Face
Birth Date
Birthplace
Current Team
Height/Weight (5 cm too tall though)
Incorrect:
Team History (Only shows Örebro)
#2
Correct:
Name
Height/Weight (still, 5cm too tall)
Team History
Incorrect:
Face (gray face)
Birthplace
Birthdate
Current Team (seems to instantly get dropped to free agents by Örebro, picked up by HK Lejon when I found him)
They both have similar attributes, but #1 has better mentals and #2 has better Techicals and they both have the same wage demands (245k p/y).
On another note, I don't know if this is something that is done by the game itself or if it is database driven. The naming of swedish regens and newgens is kinda weird. First of all there are a fair few female names in the mix (which is a nice touch, but the 28th NHL draft prospect for next year is a 17y/o swedish girl in my save, less than realistic) also I've seen some players with a family name as their first name. So whatever database of names it is pulling from isn't exactly great. But as mentioned I don't know if this is something you control or something the game does on its own.

The issue with Lundberg is that there are two real players with the same name and born in the same year.
The Updater only looks at year when adding stuff so the wrong Lundberg got ratings for the goalie
Female names can be blocked within the database. I'll try that

As some of you may know, Björklöven goalkeeping coach Magnus Andersson passed away earlier this year. I haven't played the 8.2 rosters so I don't know if he is still in it (as he was on their staff in the beginning of the season), just thought you may want to know

There is something very fishy going on with the economics of Leksand in the Database, IRL they are on the verge of bankruptcy and their GM was quoted as saying they entered the 15-16 season in the red. However when you start the season in EHM they have 21million SEK in the bank, a Salary cap of about 13 million (almost twice that of VIK Hockey) who are also about to go bankrupt IRL because their salary cap was too big. In all my saves so far, this, coupled with HockeyAllsvenskan having a way too high global standing (or something, don't know how it works exactly mechanically) means they always end up buying 1-2 "current/veteran" NHL players who start the season in-game as UFA. One is always David Moss, who takes a 80% wage cut from his previous season (according to CapFriendly.com). By the 16-17 season when a few other player's contracts are up they tend to sign players like R.J Umberger and Tom Sestito, taking a 96% and 70% wage cut respectively (the cap for Leksand went up to around 20 million in the second season, even though they ended up barely in the playoffs).
Other standouts are AIK and stranger yet, Södertälje, who came up from First Division in the 17-18 season and instantly signed Brenden Morrow and Alex Tanguay, giving both of them more than 1 million SEK each in salary (Total team Salary of 17.8M SEK). Where they got that money, and how they got a 38 y/o Tanguay to come to HockeyAllsvenskan is beyond me.
Other nonsense I've seen includes AIK buying Joel Lassinantti from Luleå for like 450k SEK and giving him a salary of 240k SEK a year (he has like 1.7mil at the start of the save) even though he developed and had good enough attributes for the NHL (17 Agi, 15 Ref, 12 Glo/12 Blo, 16 Pos, etc.) Should also be noted that despite me having won the League 2 years in a row as VIK they had absolutely 0 interest in even talking to me. But they would go to Leksand, that finished 6th, and AIK who keep finishing 2nd, as well as SSK who just came up from Division 1!? I'm guessing this is tied in with the same issue that is causing players like Stamkos to sit as free agents for like 1+ full seasons, and eventually they just take any job. Keith Kincaid ended up playing for like 915k SEK a year in HC Plzen 1929 by the 2017-18 season, which also seems entirely legit...
When you couple that issue with the way too big salary caps for some of the HockeyAllsvenskan teams and the league rep being too good it just becomes comical, there are at least like 10 NHL players in it currently, 2½ years into the save and half of them are sub 30 years old. Barring a lockout year I simply cannot see any way that is even remotely realistic.

I just noticed in my save that Ludvig Nilsson in Modo has his history for 2014-15 recorded for Modo, should be for Timrå, don't know if the stats are right either

Yeah, I realize the trading AI isn't, just went on a bit of a semi-related rant there. But I figured stuff like the starting money for clubs/the league reputation was done on the DB end. Kinda hard to know if you're not familiar with the nuts and bolts of the game yet, my bad.

Well, we're going kind of OT. In the DEL, for example, budgets are exploded. Teams are spending 3x what their editor budget is set, and they sign KHL players for 1 million or 1 million and a half...

Really is good to hear it can be changed. 'Cause it's a bit sad that you guys spend so much time getting the right rosters in only to have the teams spend like 4-5mil (when a top top tier Swe-2 player has a ~1mil salary) to essentially completely change their top 6. Kind of undermines the whole pupose of a correct roster in the first place.
Also, can anything be done about the league rep? Cause it seems way too easy for the AI specifically to get players that would probably never even consider playing in the SHL IRL to come into HockeyAllsvenskan.
Well, we're going kind of OT. In the DEL, for example, budgets are exploded. Teams are spending 3x what their editor budget is set, and they sign KHL players for 1 million or 1 million and a half...
It seems like in every game ever made ever the AI just cheats, cause it is quite hard and time consuming to build a good game AI. Much easier to make an abysmal one that cheats just enough to give a decent challenge. When you watch full games in the 2D engine the AI has obvious BS going on (to make up for them not doing anything worthwhile with the tactical options), and it stands to reason they would have advantages in the budget and Team Rep. side of things too, leading to stuff like what Alessandro mentioned in the quote, as well as sub 30 y/o NHL Free Agents coming to play out the rest of their career for peanuts in HockeyAllsvenskan.

Fredrik Forsberg of Leksand has been cloned in the last update. There is one real version and one gray faced version, both have the same 13-14 42 game 48 point season. If only you could clone his brother Nashville would be very excited indeed!
