Questsions:
Waivers?
We can hang on to non-American players as long as we want, but we may only trade for/draft American players?

Yeah, unless we rolled super bad on our potential we should be set in net for 15 years or so.

Waiver pickups are almost never allowed so i would want to say no waivers, but i'm not 100%.

I just realized training camp is going to be very light every year, what with all the college prospects.

No waivers claims allowed.

Good cause I passed up Rob Scuderi and I totally woulda claimed him.
Another question: When does season 2 start, as in, when can I start making trades?

For the purposes of this challenge, season 2 will begin after the Stanley Cup Finals has ended and you get the message saying you can trade again. That's usually mid-June.

To clarify, anyone we get has to be BORN in the U.S? So we cannot draft someone like Chychrun or Alex Nylander that have U.S as their 2nd nationality? Clayton Keller is born in the UK but is a full U.S National, can we draft him?

I think we should allow it. My guess is that his parents are Americans and he was born while abroad. That happens with military families quite a bit. If the player's primary nationality it U.S. then they should be classified as American.

So that's a yes to Keller but a no to people like Chychrun and Nylander?

Wrong. Chycrun is Canadian, who was born out of country while on a non military mission to save the USA from itself.
Nylander is a Swede who spent time (or maybe was born) in the USA because his dad played Canada's game there.
So in essence, Nylander is Canadian and so is Chycrun.

He was talking about Keller

I brought up the other 2 since they have the U.S as their 2nd nationality.

I had thought about doing this challenge with The Wild since so many U.S. born NHLers are from Minnesota but I wasn't sure if a team with Suter, Parise, and Coyle would've been a bit much.
I'm still only in the pre-season but man, oh man is this team having trouble scoring. Defensively we've been okay but we have such a hard time putting the puck in the net.

I think this should be the tagline for the Challenges!
P.s. I'm loving the Challenge image as always.
