Steve Yzerman vice-president!

Not a big surprise to see that Steve Yzerman staying with the Red Wings. He's now the Front Office Vice President. I don't know exactly what it means in term of job,but i'm pleased to see him staying a Red Wings!

That's a great move by them; I wonder if he's being groomed to be the next GM. You'd think if he or the team were interested in grooming him for a coaching job he'd ahve started with an affiliate or as an assistant withthe Wings so it would seem they have him on an executive track versus a coaching track. In any case it's great to have a great hockey guy still involved with the game.
