Rosters - Trade Deadline 2016

I know it's a lot of work, I am just curious if there is a rough ETA on when the rosters might be ready with the latest trades etc from this years NHL trade deadline?
I tried to play as Nashville and trade Seth Jones for Ryan Johansen but of course Columbus doesn't want to trade a future Franchise Player.
It's not a big deal, I am just curious, or if there is a way I could do it myself, that'd be cool too.

As announced when this year's rosters were released, this year there are only "start-of-season" rosters
There was a vote last fall where it was the majority choice, and the reality is there's a significant lack of researchers/lack of researcher time.
Doing it yourself has always been an option! As I know many people would like post trade deadline rosters, I'd be thrilled if someone took the task on and posted the results publicly. Using the current 8.1a rosters and the EHM Updater
http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 10&t=11154 any necessary edits can be made, and then the database would be imported into the new EHM. The Updater comes with a Guide; you'd export the data from the database, then use the contract_update template to move players around (and the attribute_update template to make any Attribute edits if desired)
P.S. Keep in mind that rosters that are post trade deadline will usually see significant players traded/waived before the first season starts due to teams being over the Salary Cap

Ah ok, thanks. I didn't see that. That's ok then I will just play as is and try the best I can. It is fantasy after all anyways.
Thanks

I did do a set of post deadline rosters for personal use. Attributes weren't edited at all. It was just a player movement and draft pick movement change. I used the old pre game editor and then imported the database.

Using the Pre-Game Editor for player editing erases the player's role, so that is not recommended.

What do you mean erase? Does that mean if I switch teams that's an issue?

Whenever you press Confirm after editing a player, that player's role will get deleted. That is why you should use the EHM Updater instead.

Thanks. It doesn't affect the roles though if I just fiddle with the extra config file to add extensions and flip around draft picks though right?

Sorry but can't find any info about how to edit the config-file. Would you like to explain shortly...
Ive edited like an idiot on the new editor for EHM 1, but theres no way to trade draft picks via that editor.
But then Ive heard that u can use the EHM 07 editor to do that but if I would load my edited database into the EHM 07 editor and then change draft picks, would this "Lindros" my database up?
Would be really thankful for help and sorry for rubbish english, im swedish...

Just open the config file with a text editor. You do not need an editor for that.

You can import an EHM07 database into EHM1 and it'll become an EHM1 database
You can't make an EHM1 database an EHM07 database (the EHM07 Editor wouldn't be able to load your EHM1 database)

ok ok... but is it possible, as in my case, to import a EHM1 database into the EHM07 editor, edit the draft picks and then open the database file in the EHM1 editor once more? I got a fully trade deadline-dasebase with alot of ca+pa, contract and position changes i don't want to get ruined... but I just need those bloody draft picks to change owner hehe... sorry for taking up your time with newbish questions

Don't worry about using the 2007 Editor to do the extra.config editing.
The actual file it edits will be in the EHM1 database folder anyway (in program files - steam- steam apps - common - Eastside - data - database) from memory. Just find the database you need to edit, open the config file with Notepad or something, edit in the changes and save.

I'm wondering if one would be able to create a transfers file that contains all trades made this season. You could then start the season and all players get traded on the day they did in real life. That way you have best of both worlds..
