EHM 2007---My Initial Observations...

Ok, I just started playing this and have gotten thru about 20 games or so of my season...I think overall the game is pretty awesome, but I do have a few issues with some of the on-ice stuff...
1) Incessant icing of the puck on faceoffs during the last 2 minutes of a period---it seems that every time there is a faceoff in the last 2 minutes of a period, if the team who wins the faceoff is in their own end, they ice the puck---this happens like 6 or 7 times before the period ends...I understand that there are times when a team will do this, but I don't understand why the team winning the draw would automatically do this every time...it makes no sense...something that definately needs to be fixed...
2) Scoring from outside the blueline...this is another big one---my team has scored 5 goals from outside the blueline already this year---4 from between the redline and the offensive zone(including 3 in one game!!), and another one from the top of the faceoff circle in my own end of the rink---these are all WITH the opposing goalie in net....I also have been scored on once by the CPU team from outside the blueline. I am not saying this never happens, but it MIGHT happen to each team once per season, if that....having it happen 5 times for myself, and once against me in 15 games is extremely excessive...this is something that needs to be looked at closely...
3) Save Percentages are too high---there are too many shots being taken---in the NHL last year, the highest SOG/game team was the Ottawa Senators averaging a little over 34 shots per game...however in EHM, I have 8 teams averaging more than this, with virtually every team in the league above 30 shots per game---the team with the lowest SOG/game is averaging close to 29 per game...less shots with the same amount of goals would lead to a more realistic shooting percentage....goals/game are pretty good, but the number of shots per game needs to be reduced by about 4 or 5 per team...
That's pretty much it as far as gripes that I have so far---overall I think the engine is pretty darn good---just a few tweaks here and there and it could even be better...
