defense not creating offense??

I have roughly 800 hours on the game and throughout my play i have noticed that defense do not create offense, they do not put up high numbers at all. ex, in this past NHL season there was 15 dman with 15+ goals. In EHM you will be lucky to see a dman reach 10. Is anyone else having this problem?

I had Derrick pouliot put up 20 goals, 101 points for me a few times. Mess with their personal tactics

This is just your own fault. Hell, i'm in one of the TBL's online leagues, and Victor Hedman pumped out 71 points in nearly 82 games... If I can do that in an online league, then it's possible. You just need change your tactics.
Defensmen DO score few goals in this, granted, but I'm fine if my defenseman has 71 assists and no goals!

Get them playing higher tempo and higher passing/shooting levels, also could give them the option to carry the puck and join the rush
