EHM The Blue Line

Hi,

I've been trying to add new affiliations. I can add them in the editor, however they do not show up in game. I've tried this with a save file not a data base. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have had no trouble getting them to show up in the game after loading the database in the 2007 pre-game editor, maybe you can try that?

I'm playing EHM 1 & trying to do it with a save file. The EHM 2007 editor won't work with what I've got will it?

I haven't used the save game editor or the new editor, so I have no experience of that, sorry

with EHM 1 if we import the database does AHL have 03 teams or still 27?

I think it depends on what Rule Set you use.....2006, 2014 or 2015 (when you import the database)

I've been trying to create a new affiliation in a saved game in the EHM 1 Editor. For starters the affiliation screen is empty when you load from a save and when i try to add a new one it gets 0 as record ID and N/A as unique id. So it will not add to the game even though its visible in the editor.

I think it is because affiliations are dealt with elsewhere in saved games. The Affiliations table in the database is moved elsewhere in the saved game - or at least that was the case with EHM 2007. I expect EHM 1 is the same - particularly as no affiliations are appearing in the Affiliations table when loading in the EHM 1 Editor.

I think at the moment we are restricted to editing affiliations in databases only.

Something I can't quite figure out. I am trying to put the Vancouver AHL Franchise in the Western Conference, swapping them with the Detroit AHL Franchise. So I swap the teams and then reassign the afilliations. It should essentially swap the conferences for me. Well it does, only problem is that after I do, the rosters are incorrect. For some reason the two teams loan each other their rosters. All of Vancouvers players are loaned to GR and all of Detroit's players are loaned to Utica. No idea why this would happen or if there's also something else I need to do to prevent these massive loan swaps.





I figure this work around would work since I can't just swap the divisions for the two teams, but apparently not. I can never swap division across conferences because whenever I do, the swapped teams never show up in the division standings for some reason.
