National team exhibitions

Hey,
I have always been a fan of the national team aspect of the game, but I've found that it is heavily hard coded over the years, although I'm seeing in recent updates that it seems to be possible to edit that part of the game as well.
So what I'm wondering is if it might be possible to add exhibition games to national teams as well? Since there usually are some before the World Championships, now we will see some before the upcoming World Cup?
Maybe it will be possible to arrange "competitions" of different forms instead of regular friendly matches, such as back-to-back or a series of matches?
As I saw in an older thread, imagine something like this coming up:
