On the fence about purchasing...

Hey everyone,

I'm new here (obviously!) and was wondering how well the online league functionality works in EHM1?

I'm a seasoned veteran in football sims and have been running my own league for 6 years now and its one of the most prestigious of them all (you can check it out in my sig once I add the link). I'm a hockey lover as well but have never found an online sim that's worked well. Franchise Hockey Manager 2's online system was awful. So I'm curious about EHM1's and would love to join a league if its simple to use (import/export functionality, etc.).

If anyone can help me out here I'd love to be able to join an online hockey league (or start my own).

Thanks,
Robmeister

If you are looking for a league to join and test out the game then there are quite a few around. The game play is quite addictive and enjoyable since you are playing and conversing with 29 other human GMs. High recommended!!!

I have been playing in an online league for many years now and still not bored of it. Worth every cent I spent on purchasing the game, maybe my wife will not agree but oh well :)

I'm biased, but the game is easily worth the money. Even more so when you consider the online leagues. I've only recently joined a couple but it is a great experience so far.

- From the menus at the top, under Online leagues you can sign up for the two leagues I'm currently part of WHL and EHL. However, there is a waiting list, plus, I' advise you to get some offline experience beforehand.

- if you are not the host, import/export is pretty much non-existent. It's all manual.
