Finances and Salary

In the league I am in there is some confusion with how players cap hit is calculated.

My in game Averaged Club Salary is 68,895,000. I have no buried contracts, injured players or cap penalties and I get 69,546,000 when I add them up myself. Our personal math is always off by a few 100k to over a million.

My personally calculated cap space is 1,854,000, My space based off my Averaged Salary is 2,505,000(Trade center cap space page shows 2,507,000) but my Pro-rated payroll room is 3,760,000.
Which one is my actual cap space?

Then to make it even more confusing. In the trade window if I add a player who has a cap hit of 2,500,000 It is adding a caphit of 2,890,000 in the trade window. I should be 5k/7k under my cap based on Averaged Salary not over.
Likewise if I put up a player with a hit of 4,500,000 to trade away in the trade window it only shows cap relief of 3,000,000. Why does this not reflect the actual cap hit of the player.

Its making it tough to make trades when we are unsure exactly what free space we have. If anyone has some insight on how to get the proper numbers that the game uses or atleast which number is our real cap space that would be great. Thanks.

i did not do the math myself since i'm at work.

But Average Salary is not the same thing than Average Cap Hit.

Player A : 3 years contract : 1 million; 2millions; 3millions = 6 millions total = 2mil/y cap hit
Player B : 3 years contract : 2 millions; 2millions; 2millions = 6 millions total : 2mil/y cap hit.

so depending on the year you are looking at it. this could be the difference.
