Ive never used FHM before and am using the beta for FHM3 right now. How do you sim more than one day at a time? Or how was it on previous versions? I cant seem to sim more than 1 day at a time.

If you're playing "Path to Glory" mode that's how that mode works, simming 1 day at a time. If you want to sim forward longer periods you need to play "Sandbox" mode
Here's how the developer explained it on the OOTPD site
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/board/f ... -mode.html
Path to Glory (a.k.a Career Mode) = play (no commish mode, no speed-sim options, no "let the AI handle everything for me") the game (do what a GM/Coach does in the real world).
Sandbox Mode = toolkit you can use to play/test trough different scenarios. In theory you can use it like you did FHM 2, take the normal 2016/17 start and speed-sim or go day by day, make force trades, edit player.
The career mode is for user who want to play a sport management game, the sandbox mode is for user who want to use the game more as a toolkit.
Our main priority is the career mode but we will continue to support/improve the sandbox mode as well (support when needed, improve when we have time).

Actually, the game will not always sim day by day, it will just break when something happens (which includes news/PM´s), so most of the time it is day by day. As Nino wrote correctly, if you want to sim large time frames, Sandbox is your only option.
But there is also a way to increase the days simulating by going to "Manager Options" and selecting the level of news you want to get (separate settings for season and offseason). That´s not necessarily the way we want people to play the game but on the other hand, some options never are a bad idea.

Thanks for the reply, guys! Ive lived on EHM and it is significantly different in terms of the layout so I was more than lost. I greatly appreciate it. Any tips on FHM would be appreciated too.
Cheers!
