Insane ECHL Player

I was playing as the Bruins and I saw that the ECHL All-Stars game was going on in a couple days, after the game I looked at the the top 3 stars and offered a contract to the First Star Player. He accepted a two year deal for a total of 900,000. He's on my third line and he has 7 points in 5 games.

This guy is great and no one had his rights either.

Hmm, I'll have to check him out. We Bruins GMs are always on the look-out for good Left Wingers

I picked up about 9 ECHL/AHL players with no rights in the first season, all of whom were top 6 NHL/top 4 defencemen level. I'm not sure if it was a glitch in my game or if there are some badly set attributes, but good scouts help!

There are many overrated AHL/ECHL players around... Try Gaucher (dont know his first name or which team he plays for), he is and amazing D. All scouts and stuff complain that he is mediocre but he, along with Derek Morris, is my Top 2 D-men.

It is being fixed in the patch as it is a bug. If you look at the guys in the editor, they both have only 80-90 out off max.200 in ability and potential. Many people have reported it at the SI forums and I am pretty sure I saw it mentioned as fixed in the patch.

OT: Bergenheim has moved to Frölunda, Sweden IRL. He played one match so far and I think he scored.

The Marlies are only like 9 games into the season, so what I've posted is pretty much all there is.

I signed Curtin and Hodge to my Wings team with the 3.01 patch and they played fairly well on a 3rd/4th line, but now with the 3.02 patch, their attributes aren't as good, so I didn't bother signing them.
