In the CHI vs NYI game today the commentator said Havlat and Khabby will be signing autograph at a place call Hawkquarter this saturday. Just wondering if Minty will go? Sounds like a great chance to meet some NHL stars, and if you do go you could share the photos on here!

"Here come the Hawks, the Mighty - Blaaack Hawks - da data da."
Sorry, the title just reminded me of the Blackhawks fight song.
Yes, get some photos if you go Minty.
The Bruins did a thing at a local pub near the Garden where some of the players worked behind the bar serving drinks. I didn't go though.

HawkQuarters is the name of the merchandise shop run by the team, there is one in the United Center and a few around the city I think as well. Great places to pay a big markup on all your mechandising needs!

I used to go to these though when I worked downtown but it would be too much hassle unless I have a show or rehearsal to go to after to justify the trip...
I'm only in on the ones of these that involve charities, like the one we had where a bunch of players came out to Dave and Busters and played videogames and shot baskets and such with fans before the season. D&B is a bar plus a restaurant plus pool tables and a big amusement park type arcade with video games and games you can win tickets for prizes and such. That ones a lot of fun as the coaches and some Hawks alumni come out as well.
The real challenge is beating either Hall of Famer Dennis Savard or Stan Mikita in the golf simulation games as they are both liscensed PGA Golf Pros! GM Dale Tallon is a na amazing golfer as well, he was actually a few shots from making the cut to play in the Pro/Am portion of the PGA Championship last year. I don't have any pics from this year actually as I'm usually too busy working but I usually get a chance to talk with the Alumni and the players a bit.
Not quite as impressive admittedly but last year I beat Mark Bell and Kyle Calder at a stock car racing game

Of course both are out of town this year so I'll remain undefeated

That song is eeeevilll... man that
jaunty little number will get in your head for days! We'll back you Blackhawks!!! I vastly prefer the metal version some of my buddies put together that goes to the tune and music of AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck'

Whoohoo I knew you'd have a link to that song. The Hartford Whalers'
Brass Bonanza has nothing on the Blackhawks song.
They don't still play that at the United Center do they?

Sounds like that autograph session ought to take place at a hospital. Actually that is where I think a person looking for Hawk autographs should spend there time.

Here Come The Hawks is from 1968 originally instrumental and yes they play it quite frequently at the UC; though most of the time it is played by the awesome Frank Pellico on the organ they brought over from the old Chicago Stadium and re-hooked up at the United Center
