EHM The Blue Line

Christmas is around the corner and after playing FM for years I have grown out of it and come to find it boring so I was wondering what to get ether EHM or FHM. I have been looking on the internet for at least an hour and haven't come to a decision so I want some help form the community. Things I look for in this game
1. International I love playing with international team which has better international play between these game.
2.Game engine 2d great for EHM but I wanna see if I can switch lines when I want to.
3. Tactics I dont want game where there is know skill I want game where you can build a team around strategy and your players will play it. Example Slovakia vs Canada I would want to play a more defensive style if I am Slovakian Maybe somthing like the 1-3-1 system. Lol
4.And finally what national teams are there for these games thanks Plz Respond to help a brotha out thanks.

Personally I've bought every version of FHM, to support development
I also own EHM07 and have purchased three copies of the new EHM (multiple copies to make testing easier); I've been involved with EHM since 2010 (I'm a very active editor of rosters for EHM), and if I was to have to pick between the two I would pick EHM

Note that FHM will have 2 more upcoming patches. One around Christmas and the other sometime in January.

At a fraction of the price of FHM, and still updating three seasons later (2014-15, 2015-16 and 2016-17) it's pretty good value & with the the PreGame Editor/Updater, the EHM Assistant (allowing saved game editing), and now Archi's new Editor (nearing completion!) the editability is pretty good too

I notice in Steam there are a lot more reviews for EHM than FHM3.
Is this a reflection that EHM is much more popular than FHM3?

Not necessarily; it's not possible to directly compare the two in terms of sales, as EHM is only available through Steam, while FHM3 is available through Steam and directly from OOTP (and the number of OOTP sales are unknown)

As well, EHM was released on Steam in the spring of 2015 as an Early Access game, with the "full release" in December 2015 while FHM3 was released a couple months ago.....while EHM (released in 2015) continues to be updated, FHM is on a yearly release cycle (so with FHM, updates stop about 6 months after release, and the development focus then switches to the next release)

In October 2016 Riz (the EHM developer) noted that before the Humble Bundle sale that EHM was included in (when the game is essentially free) EHM had sold 30-40 thousand copies and a poster on the HFBoards noted at that time FHM2 had sold around 10 thousand copies via Steam (with the number of FHM2 sales directly through the OOTP website unknown) http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 23&t=17231
