Late December... Still no update

anyone able to shed some light here? A game like this shouldn't leave players waiting until the midway point of the season for an update...

1) The research team has slipped that they are at the closing stages of getting the roster update released.
2) The research team consists of volunteers who have no obligation what-so-ever to do the work they are doing.

I tend just to lock these threads and ignore them, but the post above is particularly unfair. We have a small number of users (less than 10 IIRC) who update the entire game world which is (1) in their spare time and (2) completely unpaid. So just be grateful there are some people who actually spend time and effort making these updates for all of us to enjoy.
