Hi, dont know exactly where or to whom i should write this, but i got a problem. I do not have access to some forums or topics when logged in but if i log out i get access, why is this? It seems weird to me that logged in users are restricted within the forum where unregistered guests can roam free.

That's weird

I get more access when logged in, not less...

I usually open all links under the recent topics to see what happened since my last visit and there are more topics there when im logged of than logged on, and some topics tells me i dont have access to them if i logged on.

I used to do it that way...for a long time now I've done it differently; when I log in I click on "View unread posts" (on the main page, from the four options under "User Control Panel" which is just above the "Recent Topics" list) and I see listed everything new since I've last logged in

I suppose it has something to do with permissions within the forum, if you use this, and i suppose you give newly registered users lower permissions to make sure you wont get in spammers, many other forums do this at least, and you forgot to remove this from some users, am i right or at least close to the truth?
Who is this sites numero uno admin?

I viewed the forums using your permissions and compared this to a logged-out user and I cannot see the difference (save that you can view additional forums when logged in - this is indeed intentional).
Could you post some sample links to threads you can see listed when logged out that are inaccessible? This will help me narrow down the issue.

Did you change anything, cause now i see more topics when logged in than the other way around and i weren't kicked out of anyone of these topics when i logged in(only tested the ones you see right now when logged of on the start page). So guess it kinda works now, will update with a link if i stumble in to this problem again.

No I didn't change anything. If you come across it again then post a couple of example thread links here and I will take a look.

Hi, don't know exactly if i'm in the right place or if the problem is already solved (at least I wasn't able to find a solution), but I've got problems with the NHL 2018-19 thread (
https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/v ... 40#p240940). Logged out I can read it, logged in I get a message that I'm not allowed to read this forum ...
