Please post any 2017/18 league rules and structures changes here so that we may incorporate them into the TBL Roster update for Eastside Hockey Manager.

I dont know if I should report this as a bug but in Swedish Hockey League and Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan
the automatic icing should be changed to hybrid icing and Cannot change after Icing should be active.

The sorting rules for Swedish Hockey League and Swedish HockeyAllsvenskan should be like this:
1. Goal Difference
2. Goals For
3. Own Match

Not sure where to place this, or if this is even a database or a game issue, as I've completely fallen off the wagon when it comes to editing this game -- nothing is as it used to be!

Anyhoo this post from the Steam Workshop:
In 9.4 - World cup ceremony (Ind award), held on 29th june 2016. Before the tournement?

Should you allow players on tryouts to play in competition games? Isn't that sorta how PTOs work?

Champions hockey league - no more 16 groups with three clubs. Now it will be eight groups with four teams. Also no more guarantee spots in CHL, now you have to earn it by being champion, finalist or regular season winner (it is diffirent from league to league).

EBEL - Olimpija Ljubljana is officialy out, Medvescak Zagreb is in. Schedule and season format for 17/18 in EBEL will be published within few days.

Olimpija will enter the Alps Hockey League. Don't know though if their U20 Team will stay in the EBEL Juniors (EBYSL).

The Schedule for the EBEL should be announced tomorrow: https://twitter.com/erstebankliga/statu ... at%2Febysl

Update for Austrian hockey - Austrian Nationalliga & Oberliga do no longer exist.

Behind the two top international leagues of EBEL & Alps Hockey League the 3rd level is Tiroler Eliteliga, which includes 8 domestic teams :

EHC Kundl Crocodiles
HC Kufstein
HC Falcons Woodone (from town of Brixen, Austria)
WSG Swarowski Wattens-Penguins
SC Hohenems
EC Zirl
SV Silz
SPG VEU Feldkirch / EHC Lustenau (a combined farm team for these Alps League clubs). This one is regularly called EHC Montafon and plays it's homegames at Montafon Aktivpark in Tschagguns, Austria.

Regular season consists 21 games (every team meets thrice) and top 4 teams qualify to the playoffs on format of best-of-5.

Season runs from Mid-October until 1st weekend of February + a month of playoffs. Rules same as in other Austrian leagues. Team can dress upto 22 players (2+20), but most teams are limited in roster size and only have 15 or so skaters available.

Theoretically, there is a chance for promotion to Alps League, but it is seen unlikely to happen as most teams would not have financial capacity to move up...

As soon as I get finished with roster updates for Alps League (not far to go), I could work out the rosters for these teams in order to make it playable.

I do it myself with editor, but are also putting the info into a spreadsheet. At this point, I'm still working with full player histories for everybody in a database who played in Inter-National League at 2015-16 season (and updating them to include also 2016-17). After that, I need to create some 100 new players into a database (I'm making a spreadsheet of them, but haven't yet been giving them any attributes, abilities, reputation etc. Only names, nationalities, birthdates & -cities, current clubs, positions, L/R, height, weight). Then I need to add their player histories as well and only after that can I get into the rosters.

So - will take a little while longer.
