EHM The Blue Line

Well, never seen this before ... when I start the game it goes through the quick logos (sega, war child etc) and when it gets to the main screen where your import database, start/delete game etc is ... it's black ...

Move the mouse around and you can click on somethings, presumably where the options are if you could see them ... either does nothing and sits there black or crashes and closes ...

I've been playing since December on this Laptop with no issues whatsoever, never even a crash through any updated rosters. I use all kinds of databases with no issue (98-99, original, every 8.x & 9.x) ...

So, I'm at a loss ... the only "new" thing I've done is download the Assistant and the Editor, but never used either

Anyone have any ideas or encounter this problem before ?

I've been (and still am) looking in the forms but aren't seeing anything ...

Got it fixed with an uninstall & reinstall on my laptop, lost saved games but all databases and such remain

Just in case anyone else runs into it, the only explanation I can think of is I also have the game on PC which my sons use. My youngest left his game open for 2-3 days ... I shut it down but got the black screen on my laptop after that. I guess somehow it being on so long must have buggered it up for my laptop as it locked up remotely via the PC for so long ...
