EHM The Blue Line

Hey guys!

I've been searching up and down for this, and haven't seen any answers and was hoping for some input.

Currently, in one of my saves, Henrik Zetterberg has become an Assistant Coach for me, as he was retiring as a player. However, I made the offer to him after the season ended, when he was still a player, and his new Coach contract seems to be counting as a player. He's listed as an A. Coach, but his contract still states "Roster Player" next to and I have no way to actually use him as a player.

Should I wait this last year on his contract out, deal with it then or do I risk Terminating the contract and burning the bridge to resign? Or does anyone else have a solution that might help me out?

Are you sure he isn't on a player/coach contract? If not you're probably fine to terminate and resign. Players/coaches in EHM generally have no memory of what happened while on a team once they hit FA. Someone who wants to be traded won't once you let him hit FA and won't remember his salary demands etc.
