When making trades I have noticed a (delay)order. What does this do?

This is to accept a deal but delay the processing of it by a week.

At least in previous versions there was a risk involved: the other team may not agree to the delay, in which case the whole trade is off.

And sometimes during this week, the team you're trading with might accept an offer from elsewhere and the guy you want ends up on another team.

Thanks for the added details amigos, I've never done it 'cept for coaches when I don't have the staff openings to accomodate the signing yet.

The worst is when you choose to delay and suddenly a roster freeze hits (there's always one around Christmas). The deal falls through and it's often difficult to get it done again once the freeze ends.

This was pretty confusing. I responded with the delay, as I assumed it will give me time to scout the players the CPU is offering. And now, after a week I see I only have the option to confirm the trade! ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)
