Encountered an in-game crash with the TBL or Pivot Rosters? Please read this!

Recently we have been receiving reports of in-game crashes but with next to no detail other than the fact it crashes. Debugging the rosters/game is like finding a needle in a haystack and we need as much information as possible. In order to give us any chance of identifying the issue, please copy the below template, complete it and then post it HERE (and nowhere else):

Database name and version number:
In-game date of crash:
Any error message displayed:
Leagues selected as Enhanced:
Leagues selected as View Only:
Add key staff (yes/no):
Disable all extra staff (yes/no):
Disable all extra staff (yes/no):
Add players to playable leagues (yes/no):
Add extra junior players (yes/no):
Add players to national team pools (yes/no):
Retain all teams (yes/no):


To include the following troubleshooting for the crashing at ‘initializing game data’ or ‘creating shortlist’ stages caused by the buggy extra_config code:
  • Make sure you are playing the game with the recommended settings, these are the ONLY settings we will officially support.
  • Just try it a few times, sometimes if you run into this issue just trying to setup the game 2-3 times it will eventually go through.
  • Try re-downloading the database by Un-subscribing/Re-subscribing, make sure you give about a minute in between presses so things are properly cleared out/downloaded.
  • Restart the computer immediately after EHM crashes.

The database DOES WORK, we have just pushed the game to it’s limits at this point.
