EHM The Blue Line

This might be a redundant question but as I get better at managing the Editor and building leagues with some of the bells and whistles, I'm starting to wonder about expanding on the international and Continental Competitions!

Looking for as much information as I can find as using the search tab has taken me on a wild goose chase. How are teams selected? I keep seeing this basic rules list for nations.

Like for example If I want to expand if I want to expand the World cup and make it more like the Soccer (Football) version, is this possible? Qualifying from regions ETC ETC ETC... How are teams chosen for continental competitions? How do they know where to get the teams from and how many?

If someone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly help...

The best person to answer this may be @bkarchitect, hopefully he sees this. A lot of the code for those types of events are hard coded into the game itself, especially the use of Continental leagues, EHM1 is still using the old license system so it's limited on what we can do with it.

BK has done a lot of work with his NHL32/36 projects with national teams and I believe has created some new tournaments so it's worth poking around his DBs for ideas.

Thanks my friend I'll do just that but I've tried a few different things and if they work long term I'll be posting on how it's done... Playing around with the trial and errors has been fun these last few days...
