Really torn on what to do with the minors at the moment!

Luckily I've got some help from ECK on NHL league structure, but the split AHL/IHL was the 00 model, however, the IHL folded after this season and 7 teams absorbed into the AHL. For playability I'll probably leave it until I get a good handle on the affiliations. I despised shared affiliations in 07!

Actually I have 00-01 for myself I done all NHL/AHL changes but I dont update drafts, players... So I start 98/99 season with 00-01 rosters and I add Slovak prospects for drafts to 2015 I think

TBIF any chance this will be made avail?

As far as your question i would of just created the 30 AHL teams..

Plugging away on the mod. Full NHL done, some minor tweaks but really happy with how the sims are turning out. Colorado and Jersey are able to be taken down, but barely.

So far everyone drafted from 96-04 is in the DB but not accurately rated or on proper teams yet.

WHL/OHL/QMJHL are in the DB, lots of work here to be done.

RSL (KHL) players in the db but randomly filled in.

Trying to decide what to do with AHL/IHL and what not.

TBIF just a few suggestions....

I know that IHL folds after 2000 I would say just put them in IHL... or if you want keep both leagues in the database and then you can just have the database as if IHL did not fold and that the teams stayed in IHL... Also can't wait to relive what the Minnesota were like back in 2000

I don't know if its can help you, but I was working on a spread sheet with all the prospects until the 2020 draft. tell me if you want it.

I've got every drafted player and everyone that's played atleast 1 NHL game in the DB currently. Mix of balancing, league structures and hopeful waiting for 1.5 to make use of the ranges left

Glad to hear this is still being worked on, can't have enough (good) retro rosters. Really looking forward to playing this eventually.

Probably close to tossing this up on steam as a massive WIP project. Working on correcting prospects up to 2020 so they develop correctly. Making leagues playable. Simmed to 2020 with no issues but some funky prospect results.

Created a fake schedule for the AHL so it's up and running, doing tests on it now. IHL next if this works.

AHL, IHL, ECHL all working and playable now.

Amazing! I know how difficult it can be to make these leagues with their old style of rules playable.

Getting accurate league structures is a nightmare. I'm going to cheat it a bit and get a playable release focused on NHL soon. Will do a screen shot dump tomorrow!

And I owe you some UK stuff. So sorry for the delay.

No worries on that Archi. I'm trying to do all the bantam leagues, european leagues with U20 and U18, affiliations etc. It's way worse than I anticipated

This has been my biggest hurdle the last few days and I'm so glad it's over. Just filling out future junior drafts and notable europeans who didn't come over so the DB is nice and fluffy and it's ready

All playable but not detailed. Exist just for proper player growth for now

Amazing work! This is an era that is very dear to me; around the time when I first started following hockey.
