I have searched but not sure if I searched the right thing.

Is there a way using the editor or extra_config to add draft picks to an expansion team (Seattle) using the pivot roster. I have tried adjusting in the config file but the database bombs out on creation. Though changing to a current NHL it doesnt crash.

The team will already have draft picks at game start. You can trade draft picks from another club to your expansion club via extra_config.

Yeah I know they come with the draft picks. What I was trying was to do the "expansion draft" out via spreadsheet and take on bad contracts for draft picks like the Golden Knights did in theirs.

I was testing the Seattle DB that was on the pivot rosters first before going through the "expansion process" to see if it worked before putting the time into doing an expansion draft.

was what I tried and the loading of the game will bomb out. But when i revert it back to the Wild it works

Thanks for taking a quick glance and all you do for the site. I dont post much, but have been a huge fan and player for years using your site.

Your command in the extra_config looks fine and should work. Is this with the default Premier Pivot Rosters or have you made any other changes? I just wonder whether you have made some other changes to Seattle which might in turn cause this issue.

I believe it has something to do with Seattle itself (maybe created teams in general). I know that all mention of VGK has been pulled from the config, whilst they work on a fix, as it was causing crashes.

We won't be able to make any extra_config changes including Vegas or Seattle until 1.5
