				Need help to get started

				I'm relatively new to editing and need a bit of guidance to get started. 
- 1st of all I'm wondering which program I should use... I'm currently trying out Adobe Photoshop... 
- 2nd I have a problem with croping logos so that they doesn't have the white background in the game.
- 3rd and last I'm having problems to creat new club backgrounds, what should I do???
I would really appreciate some help...

				1.  Depends on how much detail and fancyness you want to do, paint should be good enough, but photoshop would help with special effects.
2.  If paint, use the dotted line star looking tool in the top left corner of the tool bar, or in photoshop, use the lasso cutting tool.

To remove the background from an image:
1. Press "w" to bring up the Magic Wand Tool
2.  Click once anywhere on the background.  This should select only the background colour.  You might have to zoom in and select the background parts of the logo (inside an O for example).  To do this, hold shift while clicking with the Magic Wand Tool.
3.  Once you've got all of your background selected, press the delete key.  Voila!
4.  De-select (Ctrl+D).
5.  Select Save For Web... from the File menu and save it as a PNG with a transparent background.  This will allow whatever is behind the logo to show through.
If this doesn't help you out enough, I might suggest googling 'photoshop background removal tutorial'.

If you don't wan't to spend any money on it, then The Gimp is a great program :
