Helping Eck with one of the Swedish leagues, and also just for general knowledge. Question regarding Rules & Structure setup and wondering if anyone knew the correct team picking rules/set up for this example:

Stage 9 pulls correctly, but I can't get 10 to pull

Stage 9 - Cup
20 teams, 2 rounds

Top Bye
Round one 16 teams
Round two 12 teams


I want the 6 winning teams from round 2 to go on to Stage 10 - League Setting

6 teams playing a round robin vs. each other.


Error after Stage 9 completes:




Question: I've been trial and erroring all the various team picking rules for Stage 10, but I can't get past stage 9 after the 2nd round teams clinch the series. It keeps erroring/crashing.
I've tried different settings, and putting 6 in the playoff or promotion spot in Stage 9 (and tried leaving them at 0)

Actually figured it out, I just sent it over to Eck now, and have made a few years test sims with it successfully;
Stages shifted from 9 and 10 to 13 and 14 (to accomodate relegation rounds), but the rest of the settings with the exception of Linked Stage remain the same from the OP.

Here are the settings I ended up using.

Team Picking: From Prev Stages Use 1 stage *(logically doesn't sound like it needs use 1 stage, since stage 13 is a single stage, but this works so I'll leave it for now)
Draw teams from cup: Winner

The intuitive thought of selecting Cup: winner, made me think that it would only bring 1 team, but it brought all 6 teams that remained from the stage 13 playoffs, which was the desired effect.

So overall, not sure how Cup: Still in works, but Cup: winner brings in remaining teams in a cup to the next stage.
