Ray Ferraro pulls no punches with anyone. He is straight to the point. He believes that in the NHL you are a professional. You make mistakes yeah, but doing what Stefan did is inexcusable. He is right when he says: sorry, anyone who stickhandles the puck from the blueline in to an empty net is fricking hot dogging. Stefan has no excuse.
I feel bad for him, because his teammates must be ready to kill him. Easy game over, and boom the rest of the team relaxes as they see him move in. Boom...screws up by hot dogging. (Not a fancy move or anything--but this play is a clear rub-it-in-the face of the othre team play). Bing, bang, boom Oilers score. No excuse for the others though--never relax until the buzzer goes. But darn Stefan shafted his team.
Trust me, had Stefan put it in the net...the first Oiler back would have put Stefan through the net, and through the boards.

Where does a 5 goal guy get off doing this rubbish anyway?

On the other hand.. Funnier than Gagner's penalty shot, and Naslund's shootout play the other day against Dallas.

I agree that this announcer is being a jerk. I'm sure he was humiliated enough as it was. That said, he was a former first overall pick.

I wonder what Turco is thinking when he is drinking the water from his bottle.
