Logo and play pack to come soon!
Based off of Premier Pivot 6 with all NHL transactions as of the 2022 trade deadline, and continuing on the influence from bkarchitects series (Please check out his NHLx series), Global United Hockey brings a vastly expanded world and set of leagues in this half-real, half-fantasy global hockey community. This is the third iteration of the series, working vastly on league playability, financials and prospect generation. In addition to IamAnActualOtter's player generator, there are 1000's of international players all vying to make it to the NHL and Global United Hockey.

Special thanks to:
xECK29x for making this happen
Archibalduk for his editor
And anyone that has helped test or given feedback!
Also additional thanks to everyone in the community for the feedback, testing at various stages, and overall help throughout the process of this version!
The base of the database was using the PremierePivot 6 series.
Loosely inspired by the BKArchitectâs World Hockey Association db projects, which have now been updated in the new NHLX series), I took the fictional direction to the extreme:
NHL Updates:
Features all major transactions from the real life 2021-2022 season, as well as 18 competitive NHL United expansion/revived teams, each with a Franchise Player.
In addition to the NHL updates, there are over 640 playable teams added in 9 internationably playable leagues.
Changes from original Pivot:
I've tweaked the financials/reputations a little bit to give some of the other leagues a fighting chance for some contracts and development.
ALL active players have been converted to a random PA based on any static PA. Current stars likely will remain stars, but developing or younger players may have a different curve than in real life. Some for the better, some for the worse. So scout carefully!
I've shifted many of the North American schedules to accommodate the longer playoffs. The NHL schedule remains the same, except shifted back 3 weeks. All of the expansion/revived teams (NHL United) ONLY play each other during the regular season, but can and will be seeded with their NHL conference counter parts.
*Previous year logo pack to be updated soon, previous year logos will work for some teams
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... 2487842053
Logos were created by me or found and modified from pre-existing logos, ehm packs (BKArchitect/dani9), clip art, concept art, or extinct teams and altered, combined, or distorted to match the team. If you found yourself uncredited, and would like specific credit, I will properly credit where credit is due.
Recommended additional pack: dani9's graphic pack on Steam or downloadable on EHM Blueline: https://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/v ... 09#p233209
Main Features:
Global United Hockey: 96 fictionally created starting roster, at least 1 direct farm team and 1 direct junior team.

Global United Hockey minor: Converted to the main farm system for GUH, also has 1 direct farm team
Global United Hockey U22 and U18 leagues: Servers as junior affiliates to GUH and GUHm
NHL update: All existing teams have 32 current NHL teams with final Pivot transactions. NHL division and conference alignments remain the same as the 21/22 season, with an additional NHL United division added to each conference (9 each)
18 Expansion/Revived teams make up the NHL United divisions. NHL United teams play regular season amongst the two divisions, but are seeded in the playoffs by conference rules.
(current NHL divisions with 2 added divisions, 1 per conference)

Each new team is seeded with 30 players from all over the world, balanced out to fit an expansion roster. Each team is also assigned 1 franchise player starting his career at 18. (all Franchise players have a PA rating of -10)
Expansion/Revival Team list w/Franchise Player.
Albuquerque Armadillos - Jesse Salamanca, combining the names of two popular characters from Breaking Bad, a speedy goal-scoring winger.

Atlanta Thrashers - Hershel Glenn Rhee, I've recently been catching up on the Walking Dead, Korean-American defenseman with great leadership skills and heavy shot.

Anchorage Arctic Wolves - Kodiak Blackfoot, a big two-way center, a born captain, with a balanced skill set. Being able to represent either Canada or the US, he offers a key role to build around.

Baltimore Bandits - Omar Williams, mixing the fictitious character with the actors surname (RIP Michael K. Williams), this physical playmaking defenseman is not afraid to help out offensively.

Birmingham Bulldogs - Atticus Van Zant, taking the first name of an iconic literary character and the surname of the band that brought us Sweet Home Alabama, a strong skating, playmaker, with a solid defensive skillset to make him a force at both ends of the ice.

California Golden Seals - Theadore Logan-Anderson, Ted from Bill & Ted's Excellent adventure mixed with The One, Mr. Anderson, this future franchise goalie players an acrobatic style, and continues the career of the Youngblood inspired actor. Since his namesake is of mixed-race, I've made Ted a dual American and Chinese citizen.

Cleveland Barons - Shaggy Rogers, this one is a bit more obscure, but the tall thin goalie is missing his partner, Scooby. During research, I read that the gang is from Ohio, and I was running out of ideas for this one, so I went with it.

Halifax Highlanders - Dougie Glatt, well, this is obviously stolen from a certain movie, I've never seen it in the game, but he'll be the first franchise Enforcer. A bit more skilled than his movie counterpart, an Israeli American

Hamilton Tigers - Jimmy Howlett, for any fans of the popular Marvel character's original name, hailing from the same Cool Lake Alberta, Jimmy Howlett is a skilled, small yet aggressive powerforward. Very strong for his size, he has a lot of grit with the propensity to shoot when he can.

Hartford Whalers - Howie Gore, after Gordie Howe left the Red Wings he made a pitstop in 2 franchises that don't exist anymore. I've decided to split him into twins, meet RW Howie the sniper. With a good balance of both shooting and passing, he also gives the team a great leader with a physical presence.

Houston Astros - Harry Gore, twin brother of Howie, assigned to Gordie's other non-Red Wings franchise, Harry is a premiere physical playmaker with a similar skill set as his brother. Can the two ever be re-united to bring either team to the cup?

Hawaii Honu - Dwayne Maivia, The Rock played a hockey player in a film, but I felt like he'd be the ideal power center with a blistering shot. He represents American Samoa for the countries first NHL star.

Indianapolis Racers - Gennadiy Wretzky, a name obviously inspired by the great one, I felt Indianapolis never had a chance to keep their star. This time around they do. The Ukranian-Polish superstar might be one of the best playmakers in the game, with potential to boot. Of all the players, he's the most NHL ready, and he's ready to compete for the Calder.

Kansas City Scouts - Kal-el Clarkent, this do-it-all defenseman, is the Kygystani-American super defenseman. has the physical skills to make him one of the best in the league, he can be the anchor for the team throughout his career.

Milwaukee Stags - Alfonzo Cunningham, named after the Fonze and Richie Conningham, this playmaking defenseman plays in Happy Day's home state of Wisconsin playing for the re-located Michigan Stags to Milwaukee.

Quebec Nordiques - Xavier Laflamme, good friend of Dougie Glatt, I am a big fan of that movie, and felt Quebec needed a true French-Canadian super star. While, he'll have to be developed correctly, Xavier Laflamme has the potential to become a top goal scoring center in the league.

Portland Buckeroos - R.P. McMurphy, named after Jack Nicholson's, he's kind of an oddball, and play both forward and defense pretty well. He's definitely a character, but a fun player to build around. He represents Ireland.

Saskatoon Silver Foxes - W.W. Wilson, from the same world as Jimmy Howlett, this deadly sniper has a dangerous array of shots. He's fast, and powerful, and can develop into an elite goal scorer.

NHL Playoffs; per conference, the top 14 of 25 teams have an automatic seed into the 1st round. Teams 15-18 play in a preliminary round best of 3, which continues onto the 1st round.
Conference First Round: best of 3, seeded top 14 teams + 2 winners of preliminary round
Conference Quarter finals, best of 7, seeded winners of the first round
Conference Semi finals, best of 7, seeded winners of quarter finals
Conference final, best of 7, the 2 winners of semi-finals.
Stanley cup, best of 7, winner of both conferences, home team with better regular season record.
AHL
50 AHL teams, current divisions exist, added two divisions: AHL Renaissance East and AHL Renaissance West, both with 9 teams.

Each of the 6 AHL divisions play divisional playoffs
Divisional Qualifying round, seeds 4 and 5 play a qualifying best of 3
Divisional Semi Final, winner of qual round, and seeds 1 -3 play best of 5
Division finals, winners of semi final plays best of 7
Winners of each division are re-seeded 1-6 based on regular season.
Quarter finals, seeds 3-6 play in a best of 7
Semi finals, seeds 1&2 get an automatic bye, and play the winners of the quarter finals, best of 7
Calder Cup finals, the winners of the semi-finals play in a best of 7
ECHL remains the same
Southern Professional Hockey League
Added another conference called the SPHL Expansion Conference, featuring 12 affiliates from previously existing teams to serve as the secondary farm team for the NHL.

United States Hockey League
Not much change in this league itself, BUT it is now included as a 5th team in the CHL Memorial Cup. A minor update, but gives the USHL champion a seat at the table (as well as one team randomly eligible to host), and to show off prospects from those teams.

NCAA
The 60 university/college system of 6 college divisions of the Frozen Four tournament, merged into a single league
Bracketed 16 team tournament NCAA style to decide a winner.
Using a customized prospect generator, I seeded the database with players all over the world from varying skill levels. Many untraditional players may pop up in the NHL and other leagues moving forward. With the advent of Global United Hockey, many stars are available internationally, and even NHL teams could be vying to bring them over. GUH has big pockets, so luring NHL RFA’s and keeping home grown stars can bring a unique experience.

International tournament changes
Champions of Hockey Tournament has been expanded to 64 teams, adding the GUH, AHL, ECHL, SPHL, and KHL into the mix.

Olympics has expanded to 24 teams per phase.
World Championships expanded to 180 teams:
World Junior Championships expanded to 128 teams
World cup expanded to 84 teams: All 54 IIHF countries, +other countries with membership to IIHF in real life
World cup U-20, same 84 country's U-20 teams, happening in August of Olympic years
Recommended Settings:
*Optional: Full, is pretty vast, over 100,000+ players and 25,000+ staff
Over 1,000 added teams from the original PivotPremiere release, play according to the speed you prefer.
Otherwise, Normal or large with specific countries added:
Disable all extra staff
Disable all extra players
Retain All Teams
Retain Players & Staff: (select up to 10 countries you'd like to see more players come from, my suggestion is to add non-traditional markets here)
Additional resources for the game, please download the graphics pack for all Global United Hockey teams, as well as the additional NHL expansion teams! The NPF's facepack for the original Pivot should also work for all of ImAnActualOtters player generated players, too!
Thank you, and I hope you enjoy!
