EHM The Blue Line

Hello!

I recently got an interest in ice hockey and bought Eastside hockey manager. The thing is that I have been a footballer all my life and played a lot of seasons in the Football Manager series with CM01/02 as the absolute favourite. I love management games and read about EHM and got the itch. Coming from the football world ice hockey is something alien to me and I am learning a lot about the game. Like rules, terminologies and so on. My question is about what is the norm in ice hockey when it come to wages. Do players get paid weekly, monthly or yearly? Because I want to select the right setting in the game preferences.

That setting you are referring to is just cosmetic. It is usual in North America to refer to players' annual salary whereas in, for example, the UK we're more used to the football style of weekly salaries. So it doesn't impact how often players are paid - it's just a way of presenting the salary according to personal preference. Select whatever setting you like - you should be able to swap it mid-game anyway.

I am so used to weekly wages from the Football manager series that yearly wages kind of get too abstract to me

This is probably off topic so sorry for that. But do you happen to know about any font mod for the game? Or is it a way to enlarge the in game fonts? I play on a 27" screen with a resolution of 1920x1080. Thanks in advance.
