EHM The Blue Line

I am GMing the Devils and on my 2nd season as GM, which began with the 22-23 season and roster. Hishcier by far is the best player on my team by his ratings and scouting report.

In the 22-23 season he was on the 1st line and had 23 goals and 46 points in 76 games with a rating of 6.91. The playoffs he had 1 goal and 11 points in 12 games with a 6.92 rating.

I am 3 games into the 23-24 season and he has 0 goals and 3 points, with a 7.33 rating.

My lines are:

Palat-Hischier-Bratt
Sharangovich-Hughes-Mercer
Athanasiou-Geekie-van Riemsdyk
Johnsson-Haula-Namestnikov

I have tried swapping my wingers, and even Hischier and Hughes, and nothing seems to work. It makes no sense that my top attributable player just doesn't perform well statistically. His attributes even got better for this current season.
