EHM The Blue Line

Hey, I have been playing the historic 97-98 rosters, but I noticed that when I go to league history, future cups that haven't been won yet are shown. This is especially annoying after winning a cup for that year, as it denotes two winners. I tried using the editor to edit the save game, deleted all the future history as well as the double cup year. When I go to load the save game, I get the message "The save game is corrupted and cannot be loaded. Debug info: v1.5.0b1669120 setup..cpp 1630 (load_game_data(): unable to load game database I) I have the beta enabled, but as far as I know that shouldn't be causing the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Editing the saved game will irreversibly corrupt it. This is because deleting records requires certain indexes within the saved game to be updated (only some of which the Editor can update). So you'd have to revert to a backup of your saved game.

The issue with the DB is because it was originally designed for EHM 2007 and the histories weren't removed, presumably due to the way the start date was hardcoded. As it happens, I'm working on an updated version of the 1998 DB which includes accurate league structures plus a bunch of updates CJ prepared, so I'll fix the histories at the same time.

Interesting, IIRC there is option for this DB to be played without history showing winners past 1998.
