EHM The Blue Line

Hi all,

For those of you I haven't met, I've only been coming to TBL for about a month. In that time, I've really apprecaited all the information I've discovered from all the helpful folks on these boards.

As a way to say thanks, I'd like offer anyone interested an avatar design.

I just did a new one for Minty and I'll be re-working mine over the next few days.

I'll take orders in this thread until Friday at noon PST. Anyone is welcome, just specify what you'd like in your avatar (member name, favourite team logo, etc.)

I'm glad you started a thread actually because I've been wanting the let people know that you made my new av, it's sweet

If you want to also design a set for people to choose from we can put them up in the avatar gallery like our TBL jerseytars For those who don't know there are tons of avatars to choose from if you go to your Profile Page (click 'Profile' on any of your posts or click the 'i' in a circle logo in the black bar above the header) and then at the bottom of the page click on 'Show Gallery'.

- From there select which set you want from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the radio button next to the one you want to use and click the 'Select Avatar' button.
- When you come back to your profile page make sure you then click on 'Submit' at the bottom of the page or the system won't remember your choice!

I'd love a custom avatar! Now I see your favorite team is the Canadiens. Would you still be able to handle making a Bruins one? Creatively, I'll leave it up to you what you put in it as long as it's got something with the Bruins and my screen name (Bruins72).

bruins72 and joehelmer have got avatars up in my gallery.

If you guys want anything tweaked or chaged...too bad! lol.

so I just noticed that both of your avatar designs have horizontal scan lines...if it bugs you that they look sorta the same drop me a PM and I'll make some changes. cool? cool. I worked on them at totally different times of the day and didn't even realize I used the same effect. sry.

and inSTAALed, don't listen to minty about the beggers and choosers stuff...lol.

I'll take one if you don't mind making one for a relative newbie.

I'd take one with either a fierce looking, hockey playing snowman, or what would probably be easier, one with the San Antonio Rampage logo. And if you can include "Snowmon" in there as well that would be great.

I should be able to do something with the logos I can get from the web. If I need a better one, I'll let ya know.

Speaking of which, did you know if you Yahoo! 'Toulouse Bélougas', the first 2 results that come up are YOUR posts on this site! Not the team website (do they have one?!), but your posts mentioning the team. Now that's fan support!

Wow! Didn't know it! And to answer your question, yes, they have a website (http://www.tbhc.fr) even if it's little team lost in a country where most of people don't know anything about hockey...

On the avatar matter, i like the main idea I would just wish a bigger logo, which means that the logo won't be at the center of the image, but centered on the space left under the text, allowing a bigger logo without having text overwriting the logo or the opposite. If it's possible and not too hard to do, i'd like it If it would take you too much time, i'll go for the actual one, as i don't want to annoy you to much with this

That avatar is QUITE cool! Is that the Rampage logo or did Catchup come up with a cool hockey playing snowman elsewhere? Either way, glad to see another person joining the fray. We've got a very active little community here and it's not just EHM stuff.

I wish that was the rampage logo. It would be such a great pun. A rampaging snowman in the middle of texas. Awesome.

EDIT: well, as we are quite some B's fans around here....I think it would be cool to have a Halifax Mooseheads or a Belleville Bulls avatar, as they are my favorite teams in the minors....but its up to u!!!
