The team names were funny. What does this mean Les Scabitant de Montréal?

Quite funny!!!
I like the explanation that NHL was better than Euro-hockey: just because Euros are pussies
...anyway, I have the silght impression that it was written by a Habs fan, right???

I'm guessing it was written by a Canucks fan. They seem to have a love for Linden. Then again, they seem to crack a joke at every team. Who knows?
The meaning of "Les Scabitant de Montreal" is a play on the name "Les Habitant de Montreal". That's where the Candiens get the nickname "Habs". Hab haters have always called them the "Scabs".

Visit the Montreal Canadiens page, see if that was written by a Habs fan!

Some people will use their time to get ahead in life. Some people will use their time to help others. Some people will use their time to solve important problems. And some people will use their time to write fake Wikipedia articles.
**Note to author, wherever they are:
Your "list of the 30 NHL teams" only has 28 teams listed, including one super-long multi-city team. Also, Kansas City is no longer a team. Plus, you forgot Pittsburgh. While I'm at it, there is no former Boston team... and you're missing "jokes" for 16 former clubs.

I'm guessing the Kansas City team is their version of the Penguins. As for the former Boston team... my only guess is the Hartford Whalers?

UGGGGHH! That guy is one of the many reasons I've abandoned the SI Forums! You've got that guy that lives in a fantasy world where SI is designing the game just for him and his dreams of a new NHL and then you've got a good dozen or so posters that post nothing but negative stuff. Oh yeah, you've also got people that come just to ask the same things that have been asked a million times before but are too lazy to use the search fuction.

I think that Vancouver Suckerpunchers is Vancouver Canucks and Alexander Ovechkins is Washington Capitals, so there's 30 teams. Kansas City probably is Pittsburgh Penguins.
