EHM The Blue Line

Hello all!

Today I'm releasing a pack of NHL Avatars for use by all TBL users!

Here's a look at all the avs together:







Using one of these avs is as easy as 1, 2, 5:

1) Edit your User Profile by clicking on the icon in the black bar above the site header (it's in the very top right of the screen).
2) Scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the 'Show Gallery' button.
3) From the Avatar Gallery Screen, select the 'Nhl_adm' category and click on 'Go'.
4) Select the avatar you want and click on the circle below your chosen avatar. Then scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the 'Select Avatar' button.
5) Clicking on the 'Select Avatar' button will take you back to the 'Edit Your Profile' Screen. To save your settings, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on 'Submit'.

That's it!

I hope everyone enjoys the bit of colour these new avatars will bring to the boards!

2 things: I love the Captain Highlander logo for the Isles! Every one should chant "Fishsticks"!

I am shocked there is no Stanley Cup, or 24 Cups logo in behind the Habs avatar you did!

I've actaully been thinking about re-designing my av to reflect the winning of the 25th Cup in less than 100 years. It's like Field of Dreams, if I build it - it will happen.

Amazing work. Personally, I hate the 3rd logo that Dallas selected (I don't get it, why a bull?) and so i'll be sporting my second favorite team, the Wild. Keep up the great work, and I think these are some of the best i've seen in a while. Would you object if I saved a few to use on an external site (livejournal etc?) assuming I give full credit?

(I drive people nuts who are from Minnesota down here, they hate Dallas for leaving, and they love minnesota, so someone loving both.... well, they just think i'm bonkers)

Hey dude, thanks for the comments! I picked the 3rd Dallas logo BECAUSE it's so ugly. To me, it's like the new Sabres Slug - so ugly it must be appreciated.

As far as using them outside the site, I personally don't have an objection as long as credit is given where it's due and the avs aren't edited in any way. Because they say "The Blue Line" across the bottom, I would wait for the Admins here to chime in as well about using them externally. After all, I did make them FOR the TBL community!

They're your avs, CatchUp, so it's your say as to how and where they're used I'd say being able to use them elsewhere so long as they remain in their full and original form sounds fair. Just make sure you download the av and re-upload it elsewhere if you want to use it - don't just hotlink to images hosted on our site

I just want to drop a quick public thanks to Archi (and Minty! - the mighty TBL Team ) for the front page annoucement about these avs. My website has picked up 3x the hits it usually does on a Sunday - so thanks for checkin me out TBL'ers!

It's awesome to see so many new users using the avs too....very cool for me, I must admit.

Your avs are so great that it's hard to use anything else

The Hurricanes one looks out of place.

The lack of color and the use of the third logo (which is technically incorrect) may have something to do with it.

First of all I don't see "lack of color" There are other alternate logos used as well in the set... and also, I requested the hurricane 'flags' logo be used

I think he means that the red flag is mostly grey - just needs some tweaking perhaps

It's the tropical storm warning flag, the hurricane warning has 2 of them not just 1.

darn beat me here! I thought it looked like a Flames fans favourite. A ref's arm band!!!

Heh nah I tilted my head to the left, and the black part in the middle reminded me of kissy lips.
