Extracting files using WinZip

Firstly, double-click on the ZIP file of the addon you wish to install. This will open WinZip with a list of files stored in the ZIP file. To extract the files, click on the 'extract' button at the top of the WinZip window. There are two options of interest when extracting files; you can choose to either extract the files with or without the ZIP's directory structure.
If the files of the ZIP file belong in one folder then the directory structure doesn't need to be used. If, however, the ZIP contains files which belong in different locations then it is best to extract using the directory structure in the ZIP.
The directory structure of the ZIP file can be seen on the right of the WinZip window:
1) Extracting WITHOUT the directory structure: Having clicked on the 'extract' button, a dialogue box is opened. In the dialogue box, ensure that the 'use folder names' box is unticked. Then navigate to where you wish to extract the files.
2) Extracting WITH the directory structure: Having clicked on the 'extract' button, a dialogue box is opened. In the dialogue box, ensure that the 'use folder names' box is ticked. Navigate to where you wish to extract the files. The files will be extracted with their directory structure intact; the root will be the folder where you choose to extract the files.
Take the example below. If the ZIP was extracted to C:\Test\ with the directory structure intact, then: The file 'howtoinstall.txt' has nothing set to its path; this means that it will extract to C:\Test\. Whereas 'Minstrel Whiteout.col' has its path set to 'Minstrel Whiteout Files'; this means that it will extract to C:\Test\Minstrel Whiteout Files, and so on:
