I just found the ad with the Sedin twins, which was pretty funny. I was discussing the marketing with my girlfriend, and she decied that would be what my bachelor party should be like if I get there. Darn sweedish twins!

I still find it interesting that Ovechkin seems to be more marketable than Crosby (At least from the ads i've seen) Ovechkin seems to just be a natural for the screen, despite his accent.

Crosby's selling his ""Ovechhkin!!" line in that ad like this has been following him everywhere he goes was the first time I've liked Crosby at all... so I guess that proves your point and I think it's because Sid's to easily seen as a whiner/pretty boy/golden boy who doesn't have the usual "relatability" factor many hockey players do as "regular guys", basically Crosby has many many gifts but charisma isn't one of them.
