Hey guys,
I've recently downloaded a 1991 database and thought it was great. In the past I've tried to bring back old team and old players and it is alot of work so the fact that someone did the entire season of 1991 is friggin awesome. But as i was going through the rosters and past years in the NHL, I was think that 1993/94 was my fav season (leafs fan) I would really like to have a databas efor that season aswell. Does any one know if there is one out there or any other years for that matter?

Thanks for the link to the '91 database. Unfortunately, I don't know of any other databases.

I couldn't get the 91 database to work for me when I tried it before. Maybe it will work out with the latest patch? I remember reading that it had some database management fixes in it. I'd like to give this one a shot.

It worked for me with the latest patch. Funny, on the Ducks, since in 91 they weren't a team, they have Adam Banks, and Charlie Conway from the movie "Mighty Ducks" as some of the players.

Yeah, I was reading on the SI forums that most of that team is like an "easter egg". Should be fun.

Meh, I just loaded the database and took a look. I don't think I'll be playing it. Seeing the names on the Bruins roster made me smile but once I looked at some of the player ratings, that smile turned to a frown. Chris Nilan was NOT a speed demon! He shouldn't have all green stats under physical. I'm also thinking his aggression should be higher. Also in 1991, Don Sweeney WAS a speedy d-man. That was his best asset. He shouldn't be 12 acceleration and 13 speed. The way they rated Dave Poulin is just embarrassing! He looks like a guy who is lucky to be in the AHL. Dave Poulin was a Selke trophy type of player at this time. Here he's rated 11 or under on everything, except he's got 14 wrist shot.

These are just some of the worst that I've seen at first glance. I just can't bring myself to play this one. As much as I'd love to have Bourque and Neely, I was really looking forward to having some of these other guys and they're only here in name.

I hate to dig up an old thread

I hate to dig up an old thread but... the 1991 database is kind off with some of the attributes. That's why I used the editor to revamp a lot of the stats on there. They way underrated Konstantinov's physical play for example.

My favorite days were the seasons of 96-98. I was actually thinking of making a database from that time... just don't know where to start.

Are the unsigned prospects from today still supposed to be there? For example, I'm the Islanders and have Okposo and Pallfy as unsigned prospects.

I think your best bet would be to ask at eastside-uk.co.uk

Anyone have this database available? I'd like to take a look at it.
